Incitement of Interethnic Discord on Social Media. A Kyrgyz National Summoned to the State Committee for National Security

Recently, the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) conducted a preventive conversation with Z.D.A., a citizen of Kyrgyzstan born in 1989. The reason for the summons was his publications on social media aimed at inciting interethnic hatred, as reported by the agency's press service.

According to the special services, the man admitted that his actions were committed while intoxicated and promised that he would not repeat such behavior in the future.

A linguistic examination of the materials he disseminated is currently underway. After its completion, the SCNS will take additional measures in accordance with the current legislation.
