The incident occurred on March 11 at around 12:20 PM, when the police department of the Jayil District received a call from a resident of Kara-Balta, who confessed to killing her husband.
An investigative operational group from the Jayil District Internal Affairs Department arrived at the scene. It was established that the couple had spent the previous night drinking alcohol, which led to a conflict.
The woman, tired after two days of work and wanting to rest, became a victim of her husband's insults. As a result, she grabbed a knife and cut her 55-year-old husband's throat, after which she moved his body onto a carpet. The man died from his injuries.
After committing the crime, the suspect packed her belongings and went to bed, awaiting arrest. In the morning, she decided to move the body into the hallway and reported what had happened to the police.
The woman, identified as U.V., born in 1968, has been detained. She has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is currently underway.
