According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Osh region, the incident happened on the 17 km stretch of the local road Zhany-Aryk–Kyzyl-Suu, located in the Intymak rural district. Rock boulders fell onto the roadway, leading to a blockage of traffic.
Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. Currently, active efforts are underway to clear the road. Specialists from the road maintenance enterprise No. 45 have deployed two pieces of loading equipment to carry out these operations.
The Akim of the Kara-Suu district, Chyngyz Bapaev, confirmed that the clearing process is ongoing.
According to preliminary data, no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident. An assessment of the damage caused to the road infrastructure will be conducted by specialists after the clearing work is completed.
