
According to information from the president's press service, Chingiz Bapaev has been appointed to the position of akim of the Kara-Suu district in the Osh region.
Chingiz Bapaev was born on October 4, 1984, in Przhevalsk, which is now known as Karakol, in the Issyk-Kul region.
He holds a higher education degree in economics, having graduated in 2006 from Issyk-Kul State University with a specialization in "finance and credit".
Bapaev's career encompasses a number of key positions in municipal management and public service:
- From 2007 to 2010, he worked in various positions at the Issyk-Kul Territorial Office of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF);
- From 2010 to 2021, he held different roles in the Karakol city administration, rising from a leading specialist to the head of the office;
- From 2021 to 2023, he served as the acting akim of the Ak-Suu district in the Issyk-Kul region;
- From 2023 to 2024, he was the mayor of Karakol;
- Since January 18, 2024, he has been appointed the head of the state administration (akim) of the Alay district in the Osh region by the order of President Sadyr Japarov as part of a personnel rotation.
In 2021, he also ran for the city council of Karakol from the political party "Birge-Vmeste".
He currently holds the class rank of 1st class municipal service advisor.
