The road is closed to traffic
Today, March 11, 2026, at 06:50, an avalanche occurred at the 224th kilometer of the Bishkek – Osh highway, located at the Ala-Bel pass. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
As a result of the incident, the movement of all types of vehicles on the highway has been temporarily suspended.
Currently, specialists from road maintenance enterprise No. 23 are clearing the road using specialized equipment.
