Traffic is halted on the Aral–Kazarman section
On February 12, an avalanche occurred on the alternative North-South route in the Aral–Kazarman area (between km 243 and 296), according to information provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of this incident, vehicle movement in both directions has been suspended. The size of the snow mass that has descended is currently being assessed.
The road is being cleared by workers from Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 18, which is under the Ministry of Transport. Specialized equipment has been dispatched to the scene, and clearing operations are ongoing.
