It should be reminded that in June 2023, Azhiev was detained on suspicion of organizing webcam studios. His attempt to leave for the UAE through Uzbekistan ended with his arrest in that country. He claimed that he worked as an operator for webcam studios and became a victim of pressure from an administrator who, threatening violence, demanded $2,000.
Later, the investigating judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek imposed an arrest on Azhiev's property, which is to be confiscated in favor of the state. As a result, apartments, houses, and cars with a total value of 262 million soms were seized. The court sentenced Azhiev to nine years in prison.
On February 18 of this year, it became known about his pardon by the president. However, on March 6, Azhiev was once again detained in Tokmok.
