To carry out rescue operations, 13 employees of the mining rescue service were dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers retrieved the bodies of two deceased miners from a depth of about 200 meters and handed them over to law enforcement agencies. One of the miners was successfully rescued and transferred to the ambulance team.
Additionally, 18 mine workers who suffered from gas poisoning were taken to the Batken District Hospital, and their condition is currently considered satisfactory.
After completing the rescue operations, the Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel established a barrier at a depth of 40 meters and returned to their regular duties.
