In Bishkek, a suspect in video equipment rental fraud has been detained
According to the complainant, the perpetrator rented a Sony FX30 camera, a Sigma 24–70 lens, a Pergear 256 GB flash card, and a Tilta Full cage, but then stopped communicating and did not return the equipment.
As a result of the fraudster's actions, the owner of the equipment incurred losses amounting to 276,255 som.
In connection with this incident, the investigative authorities of the Internal Affairs Department of the October District of Bishkek initiated a criminal case under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, police officers were able to identify the suspect — he turned out to be A. O., born in 1998. He was detained and brought to the investigative authorities, as well as placed in custody in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation is ongoing.
