As law enforcement agencies found out, on January 30, 2026, a citizen D.T., born in 1994, filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District. He reported that on January 19, 2026, an unknown person, posing as a buyer, began correspondence with him on the online service Lalafo.
The perpetrator, taking advantage of the complainant's trust, deceitfully acquired his property — 15 heads of sheep, receiving the animals without actual payment. The amount of damage caused was 435,000 soms.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the conducted operational-search activities, law enforcement officers identified the suspect — a citizen Sh.Sh., born in 1995, who was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation established that the stolen sheep were resold, and the proceeds were used for the personal needs of the perpetrator.
