A resident of the capital filed a complaint with the police, reporting that a young man rented video equipment from him, including a Sony FX30 camera, a Sigma 24–70 lens, a flash card, and a Tilta Full cage, but then stopped communicating. As a result, he incurred losses amounting to 276,255 soms.
This incident was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the October District Department of Internal Affairs identified the suspect, who turned out to be A.O., born in 1998. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
