According to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Batken region, the operation, which started on March 2, 2026, led to the disruption of a criminal group involved in the sale of hashish in the region.
As part of the investigation initiated under Article 282 ("Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the suspects were detained as a result of operational actions — 21-year-old A.B. and 22-year-old D.A., both residents of the city.
The detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative activities are ongoing, and operational and preventive actions will continue until March 7, 2026.
