4.7 kg of hashish, 2 grenades, and 242,000 soms: Drug crime group activity halted in Osh
According to the information from the ministry's press service, a search was conducted in a Daewoo Nexia vehicle owned by citizen S. O. B., born in 1995. During the inspection, 101 grams of hashish were discovered and seized, along with 155,000 soms, which are now considered physical evidence in the criminal case.
Additionally, during a search at the residence of citizen D. S. S., born in 1989, 4.6 kg of hashish, two RGD-5 grenades, a homemade firearm, 51 cartridges, as well as $2,000 and 87,000 soms were found with the help of a service dog.
The organizer of the criminal group turned out to be citizen K. S. S., born in 1982. During the search of his residence, Afghan hashish (chars) was also found. It should be noted that K. S. S. had previously been convicted for drug offenses in other countries.
Based on the above, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale").
All three suspects have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in Osh.
As a result of the operation, 4 kg 706 g of hashish, 2 grenades, 1 firearm, 51 cartridges, $2,000, and 242,000 soms were seized. For the seized drugs, forensic chemical examinations have been appointed.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify other members of the criminal group.
