A driver in Bishkek was detained while under the influence of alcohol, who already had a history of license suspension. This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Operations Police Department (UOPSM) of the city.
According to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on March 3 at around 00:30, when officers stopped a Kia Carnival vehicle. The driver was showing clear signs of intoxication and refused to present documents at the police's request.
A medical examination at a narcological facility confirmed that the driver had consumed alcohol. It was established that he had previously been held accountable for a similar offense and had been stripped of his driving license. This marked his second such violation in the last six months.
“An administrative offense report has been drawn up against this driver. The vehicle has been placed in a towing lot. The case materials will be submitted to the court for further consideration,” the official statement said.
