According to information from the UPSM press service, the driver refused to present documents at the request of the police and was sent to a narcological institution for a medical examination, which confirmed the presence of alcohol in his blood.
According to the department, this offender already had prior experience of being held accountable for driving under the influence and had been deprived of his driver's license. This is the second case in the last six months.
A protocol for an administrative offense was drawn up against the driver, and his vehicle was placed in a towing lot. The case materials have already been sent to court.
The UPSM also reminded city residents of the importance of adhering to traffic rules and emphasized that driving a vehicle under the influence poses a danger not only to the driver himself but also to other road users.
