According to the investigation, in April 2025, the police officer managed to establish a trusting relationship with a citizen of Turkey and received from him an amount of $35,500. This money was allegedly transferred for the implementation of a project for the cultivation and export of high-value nightshades, the cost of seeds for which reaches about $3,000 per kilogram.
In October 2025, the victim turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic; however, a criminal case was not initiated. After he submitted a statement to the State Committee for National Security, on January 27, 2026, the materials of the inspection were transferred to the investigative authorities of the special services.
The suspect was detained on February 24 and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Talas Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation is ongoing.
