This morning, strong winds were observed in Bishkek and the Chui region, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the Lenin district of Bishkek, the roofing material was blown off a multi-story building on Moscow Street and landed on a neighboring building.
Cases of roofs being torn off and trees falling were also recorded on Bakayev and Intergelpo streets.
In the Kok-Zhar residential area of Bishkek, the wind tore the roof off one of the houses, and a fallen tree damaged power lines. Additionally, the cladding of a multi-story building fell onto two cars.
In the Chui region, in the villages of Zhar-Bashy, Malovodnoe, and Belovodskoe, the wind also damaged roofs and uprooted trees. In the village of Kurpuldok in the Panfilov district, the roof of the local secondary school was also blown off.
