In Bishkek, strong winds tore off roofs and knocked down trees





Today in Bishkek, strong gusts of wind were recorded, which led to damage to the roofs of residential buildings and the falling of trees. This was reported by the Kabar agency, citing data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In particular, in the Lenin district on Moscow Street, the roof of a multi-story building was torn off and subsequently fell onto a neighboring building.

Also, on Bakayev Street, the roofs of a multi-story building and barracks located on Intergelpo Street were damaged, and one tree fell on the same street.

Additionally, the wind damaged the roof of a residential building on Kok-Zhayyk Street in Kok-Zhar, as well as the roof of another house on Kuyukova Street in the village of Kok-Zhar. On Madiev Street, a tree fell and hung on electrical wires.

On Maldybaev Street, the outer cladding of a multi-story building collapsed, causing damage to two cars.

At 06:15, the Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Service issued a storm warning, cautioning about the possible strengthening of the wind in Bishkek and the Chui region up to 15–20 meters per second.
