Former MP Chynberdi Tolonov Detained

On February 18, Chynberdi Tolonov, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, was arrested in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek, as reported by the court's press service. This information was confirmed by the editorial office of "AKIpress Digest" on February 21.

Tolonov is suspected of committing corrupt actions under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is currently in pre-trial detention until April 16.

The investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
