In Bishkek, a suspect in a $50,000 fraud has been detained.
According to the applicant, on July 31, 2025, this individual offered him a job at a construction site located on Radishchev Street in Bishkek. Gaining his trust, he took a sum of 50 thousand dollars and then disappeared, failing to fulfill his obligations.
The investigative service of the First May District Internal Affairs Department has initiated criminal proceedings in this case under Article 210 (Embezzlement or Misappropriation of Entrusted Property) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“During the course of operational-search activities, the officers of the First May District Internal Affairs Department were able to identify and detain a citizen identified as E.K., born in 1991. The suspect was taken to the Investigative Service and, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek,” the press service reports.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted to check his possible involvement in other crimes.
