In Bishkek, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of fraud, as a result of which a pensioner was harmed. The criminals posed as law enforcement officials and deceitfully took her money.
According to information provided by the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs, on December 12, 2025, a citizen identified as M. O., born in 1949, reported to the police. She stated that the fraudsters, having gained her trust, stole 850,000 soms and then cut off all communication with her.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the conducted operational-search activities, a citizen identified as A. Zh., born in 2004, was detained. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and additional operational measures are being carried out. Law enforcement agencies are clarifying all the details of the incident and the possible involvement of other individuals.
