The jewelry was sold at a significantly reduced price
In Bishkek, an operation was conducted to detain suspects involved in fraud with jewelry amounting to 36 million soms, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk district.
The incident occurred on December 13, 2025, when T. A. reported to the police. According to her, two women, Ch. and N., managed to gain her trust. Between November 18 and December 2, they received jewelry for sale at one of the shopping and entertainment centers on Kurmanjan Datka Street.
After that, the jewelry was sold to a pawn shop at a significantly reduced price, and the funds received were not returned, allowing the fraudsters to disappear.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, the identities of the suspects were established. The detained individuals turned out to be Sh. Ch., born in 1985, and S. N., born in 1988. They are currently in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
