An operation was conducted at the central market of the city of Manas, during which tobacco products without excise stamps were seized, according to information provided by the Tax Service.
As a result, 9,695 packs of tobacco products were seized, with a total value of 1 million 163.4 thousand soms. Additionally, 24 packages of unauthorized electronic cigarettes and 33 jars of a substance resembling snus were discovered.
All items were handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation and legal assessment.
According to the data from the State Tax Service, a fine of 100 thousand soms may be imposed for the sale of up to 200 units of excise goods without excise stamps. If the quantity exceeds 200 units, criminal liability is provided, with a possible imprisonment of up to seven years.
