As part of tax control raids, employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic recorded the sale of excise goods in Bishkek without excise stamps. This was reported in the agency's press release.

During the inspection, about 13,000 units of various beverages were discovered, including alcoholic, sugary, and energy drinks, which lacked excise stamps.

Relevant acts were drawn up on-site, and the case materials were sent to law enforcement agencies for further investigation in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The State Tax Service reminded about the consequences of selling excise goods without excise stamps: a fine of 100,000 soms is imposed for the sale of less than 200 units, while selling more than 200 units may lead to punishment of up to 7 years of imprisonment.

The tax service urges entrepreneurs to be vigilant and avoid selling products without excise stamps, as well as to carefully check their authenticity.

Citizens are advised to pay attention to the presence of excise stamps on alcoholic products and, in case of discovering suspicious goods, to promptly report to the tax authorities.

A service for quick verification of excise stamps is now available in the mobile application "Salyk.kg," allowing users to scan the stamp or enter data manually.

We remind you that alcoholic and tobacco products are marked with digital labels in Data Matrix format, and detailed information about the products can be obtained through the "Teksher" application.
