In Bishkek, underground workshops were uncovered: alcohol and counterfeit excise stamps seized
According to the STS, during the searches, 902 liters of alcohol, 381 bottles of vodka, 43 liters of diluted alcohol, as well as equipment for bottling and producing alcoholic beverages in cups were seized. Additionally, 164 counterfeit excise stamps were found.
It was revealed that this production was carried out without the necessary permits and licenses, as well as without the payment of excise taxes. All materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
Furthermore, in the village of Lenin in the Alamudun district, a workshop engaged in the production of low-alcohol beverages was discovered. The products were also released without licenses and excise stamps, which led to the drafting of reports and the imposition of administrative fines.
The State Tax Service reminded that for the sale of excise goods without excise stamps (up to 200 units), a fine of 100,000 soms is imposed. If the volume exceeds 200 units, this may lead to criminal liability, including imprisonment for up to seven years.
Tax authorities urge entrepreneurs to strictly comply with the legislation, and citizens to check the presence and authenticity of excise stamps. This can be done using the Salyk mobile application, which allows scanning or manually entering data.
