The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) has returned the building of the editorial office of "Batken Tany," located in Batken, to state ownership. This property was previously transferred to private hands illegally.
According to information from the agency, after conducting operational and investigative actions, the building was returned to state balance as part of the materials registered in the automated information system ZHUY ERP.
It was established that in January 2010, the building of the editorial office, along with a land plot of 0.22 hectares, was sold by the Ministry of State Property of the Kyrgyz Republic. The basis for this sale was the government resolution dated September 17, 2008, No. 518, concerning the privatization program for state property for 2008–2012.
It is worth noting that the transaction was conducted in violation of the norms of the specified regulatory legal act, despite the importance of the object for the state.
