According to the police, in January 2024, two men, taking advantage of a citizen's trust, sold him two plots of land in the village of Selektsiya for $200,000, even though they had no ownership rights to them. Only $57,500 of this amount was returned, after which the suspects disappeared. The total damage, according to preliminary estimates, exceeded 12.2 million soms.
The identity of the second participant in the scheme has also been established, and operational measures are currently underway to detain him. The investigation is ongoing.
