According to information provided by the agency, cruel and unorthodox methods of "treatment" were employed in these institutions. Patients were subjected to physical violence, electric shock devices were used, they were tied to chairs and beds, and placed in isolated rooms, causing them both physical and serious psychological trauma.
During the inspections, strong psychotropic substances, whose use is restricted, were also found and seized, which were used against the patients.
As part of the investigative actions, the following citizens have been detained: E.u.Ch., K.K.B., R.F.S., Zh.A.Z., K.E., R.V.G., and M.A.A.
Currently, the employees of the State Committee for National Security continue operational-search activities to clarify all circumstances related to the patients' deaths. Upon completion of the investigation, a legal assessment of the events will be provided.
