

According to the information received, serious violations concerning the treatment methods used in these institutions were identified during the investigation.
According to specialists from the GKNB, the staff of these centers employed unacceptable methods of influence on patients: physical violence, stun guns, as well as practices of tying people to chairs and beds, and placing them in isolated rooms. As a result, it is reported that victims suffered both physical and serious psychological trauma.
In addition, prohibited potent psychotropic drugs were found and seized in the premises of these centers, which were used on patients.
During operational activities, seven individuals were detained, including the leaders and staff of the centers: E. u. Ch., K.K.B., R.F.S., Zh.A.Z., K.E., R.V.G., and M.A.A. Their fate is being decided in court, and they are in custody.







Additionally, during further investigations, two cases of patient deaths were recorded at the rehabilitation center “Bishkek-Mayak.”
Currently, the GKNB continues to conduct operational-search activities to clarify all circumstances of the case. After the investigation is completed, a corresponding legal assessment will be provided.
