Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained a citizen named A.A.T., who is suspected of illegally issuing loans with excessive interest rates. According to available information, he provided loans to people in difficult financial situations, including secured by their real estate.
This approach allowed him to generate significant profits and created a risk of losing the collateral property for the borrowers. Moreover, all his financial activities were carried out without the necessary license.
As part of the investigative actions that took place on February 12, 2026, searches were conducted. During these searches, documents related to about ten real estate properties were seized. In addition, smoothbore firearms of the "Baikal" brand with ammunition were found, stored in violation of the law.
The detainee was placed in the GKNB detention center.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to clarify all the details of the case and identify possible accomplices.
