He is accused of patent fraud and embezzlement
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the senior inspector of the State Tax Service for the Lenin district, Sh.U.U., has been arrested. This was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the committee's information, the detainee is suspected of exceeding his official authority and receiving bribes. He provided "consulting services" to some accounting firms for obtaining patents for commercial activities. Since 2024 until now, he has received over 600,000 soms for his services.
As the investigation suggests, the tax inspector was actually issuing fake patents that were not registered in the unified taxpayer database, and he embezzled the funds received.
As part of the criminal investigation, Sh.U.U. has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
