The senior inspector of the department for the control of excise goods of the State Tax Service for the Lenin District of Bishkek, citizen Sh.U.U., was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) on suspicion of abuse of official authority.
According to the agency's information, this official provided paid consultations to accounting firms and entrepreneurs on the topic of obtaining tax patents. Since 2024, he managed to earn over 600,000 soms for assisting in obtaining these documents.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the inspector issued fake patents that were not registered in the unified database of taxpayers, and he embezzled the funds received.
The suspect was detained on January 27, 2025, as part of a criminal case initiated, after which he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, additional investigative and operational measures are ongoing to identify other possible officials who may be involved in the case.
