Construction of residential complexes without necessary parking identified in the city
Serious violations have been recorded in the process of constructing residential buildings in Osh, as reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to the committee, designers and construction companies used schemes to provide false information in the project and estimate documentation regarding the provision of parking spaces for residents. This misleading information served as the basis for approving projects with officials from the architectural management of the city of Osh.
Construction companies, seeking financial gain, built commercial buildings, although they were required to provide necessary parking spaces for residents.
Representatives of the architectural management of Osh, in turn, colluded with representatives of construction companies.
These actions led to systematic violations of Kyrgyzstan's legislation in the field of urban planning, which, in turn, delayed the completion of construction work, caused dissatisfaction among investors, worsened the traffic situation, led to traffic jams on the roads, and increased the burden on urban infrastructure.
Based on the collected materials, the GKNB initiated a criminal case, within the framework of which the first deputy chief architect of "T.Y.K." and the architecture specialist "T.Z.M." were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
