In the Osh region, construction sites have been discovered that were built with serious violations of the construction norms of the Kyrgyz Republic, reports the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the security service, design organizations and construction companies used schemes to submit knowingly false information in the project and estimate documentation regarding the provision of parking spaces for residents. Based on such data, the projects of residential complexes were approved by representatives of the architectural management of the city of Osh.
Construction companies, aiming to make a profit, built commercial properties instead of providing residents with the necessary parking spaces as stipulated.
In turn, officials from the architectural management of the city of Osh, responsible for the development of urban infrastructure and creating comfortable living conditions for citizens, effectively colluded with representatives of construction companies.
As a result of such cooperation, there is a systematic violation of legislation in the field of urban planning in Osh, leading to delays in construction, dissatisfaction among investors, worsening traffic situations, and additional burdens on urban infrastructure.
Based on the collected materials, the SCNS of Kyrgyzstan initiated a criminal case, within which the first deputy chief architect of the city of Osh, T.Y.K., and a specialist in architecture, T.Z.M., have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing within this criminal case aimed at uncovering facts of corruption and official crimes in the field of urban planning in the city of Osh.
