A production base that was previously illegally privatized has been returned to state ownership in Bishkek. This was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the agency's information, during the investigation, cases of corruption related to the alienation of property located at 1a Timur Frunze Street were identified. The returned property includes workshops, warehouses, and a land plot of 0.64 hectares.
The investigation established that in 1988, the "Kyrgyzkurulush" housing utility established a limited liability company called "Aibol." The state transferred the production base to this enterprise with the condition of maintaining its core activity—servicing residential buildings. Changing the direction of work without the unanimous consent of the founders was prohibited.
However, starting from 2010, utility services ceased to be provided, and the property began to be used for commercial purposes. The object came under the control of a citizen D.B., who at that time held the position of Deputy Head of the Government Office, through his mother, who was appointed as the director of the company.
During the inspection, D.B. admitted that the privatization was carried out illegally. To compensate for the damage, he voluntarily transferred the production base and land plot to the balance of the State Agency for Management of State Property (GAMSP).
In the near future, specialists will conduct an assessment of the land plot, after which the object will be transferred to the balance of the capital's mayor's office.
