The industrial base in Bishkek has been returned to state ownership

It has been established in Bishkek that there was an illegal appropriation of state property, which includes an industrial base with workshops, warehouses, and a land plot located at: Frunze St., 1A. According to information from the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), in 1988, based on the Housing and Communal Services of the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzkurulush," a limited liability company "Aibol" was created, to which this base was transferred as part of the privatization process, including a land plot of 0.64 hectares.

During the privatization, "Aibol" undertook commitments to maintain its profile of activity as well as to service residential properties, which prohibited changing the direction of work and alienating property without the consent of all founders.

However, starting from 2010, the enterprise gradually reduced its communal activities, and the property began to be used for commercial purposes. Control over the business passed to D.B., who at that time held the position of deputy head of the government apparatus of Kyrgyzstan, through his mother R.Z., who was appointed director of "Aibol."

As a result of the conducted operational and investigative activities, D.B. voluntarily returned the industrial base with workshops, warehouses, and a land plot with a total area of 0.64 hectares to the State Agency for Management of State Property (GAUGI) under the Government of Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of compensating for the damage caused.

To date, according to the regulations developed by GAUGI, the mentioned land plots will be evaluated by independent experts and transferred under the management of the Bishkek city administration.
