An incident occurred at the ski resort "Kashka-Kulak" involving a girl who fell into a gorge while skiing, reported the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
On February 8, 2026, at approximately 21:40, a report of the incident was received by the Alamedin District Department of Internal Affairs. The girl, who was at the base in the village of Baytik, fell into the gorge during a skiing outing.
According to preliminary data, on February 8, 2026, 16-year-old T.A. arrived at the base with friends for skiing. After obtaining ski passes, they began their descent. At some point, T.A., moving at high speed, broke through the barrier located at the edge of the cliff and fell into the abyss.
As a result of the fall, the girl sustained serious injuries and was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of the trauma department of the National Hospital in Bishkek. A preliminary medical examination confirmed fractures of both legs, one arm, and the spine.
In connection with the incident, a forensic medical examination has been appointed. An investigation is underway, and a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic based on the results of the review.
