Girl fell into a ravine while riding at the "Kash-Kulak" base
According to eyewitness accounts, the accident happened last weekend. The girl lost control while skiing and rolled into the gorge.
The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region confirmed the information about the incident. On February 8, 2026, at approximately 21:40, a report was received at the duty station of the Alamedin District Internal Affairs Department that a girl named A. had fallen into a ravine while skiing at the "Kashka-Kulak" ski resort in the village of Baytik.
After registering the incident, investigators from the district internal affairs department arrived at the scene. During the investigation, it was found that 16-year-old T.A. had come to the resort with friends. After obtaining ski passes, they began skiing, and during the process, T.A., moving at high speed, broke through the rope barrier at the edge and fell.
As a result of her injuries, the victim was taken to the intensive care unit of the trauma department of the National Hospital in Bishkek.
The preliminary medical report indicated that the girl was diagnosed with fractures of both legs, her left arm, and her spine.
In connection with this incident, a forensic medical examination has been appointed, and necessary investigative actions are being carried out. A decision will be made in accordance with current legislation.
