Girl fell into a gorge at the "Kashka-Kulak" base: taken to intensive care

An incident occurred at the "Kashka-Kulak" tourist base, resulting in a girl sustaining serious injuries. On the evening of February 8, around 21:40, a report was received by the duty unit of the Alamedin District Internal Affairs Department about a skier falling into a gorge, as reported by representatives of the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui Region.

According to available information, 17-year-old T.A. arrived at the base with friends for a winter vacation. After obtaining ski passes, the group headed to the slope. However, during the descent, moving at high speed, the girl violated safety rules, breaking through the rope barrier set up at the edge of the cliff, and fell down.

The injured girl was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of the trauma block of the National Hospital. Doctors preliminarily diagnosed her with fractures of both legs, her left arm, and her spine.

A forensic medical examination has been appointed regarding this incident. Currently, investigative measures are being conducted, and a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
