According to information received from the GSIN, the incident occurred on February 7, 2026, around 12:30 PM in the facility's cell. The accused A. K. K. was found hanged, having used his pants, which he attached to the internal bars of the cell door. Despite attempts to provide first aid, he died on the spot.
Investigators from the GSIN and representatives of the prosecutor's office, who oversee compliance with legislation in institutions, arrived at the scene. The incident has been registered, forensic examinations have been appointed, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
It became known that Abdyrov was transferred to SIZO-1 on December 17, 2025, from the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, sources in the law enforcement agencies informed the editorial office of Kaktus.media that the preliminary version of what happened is suicide.
The Murder of Aysulu M. and Related Crimes
17-year-old Aysulu M. went missing on September 27, 2025, in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region. That day, she was heading to visit a friend from the village of Barskoon but did not return home. Later, surveillance footage captured the girl getting into a Honda Stream car, driven by a man born in 1984.According to the investigation's version, the suspect took the girl to an apple orchard, where he committed violent acts against her and then killed her. Later, Aysulu's body was found in the Boom Gorge.
Abdyrov was arrested and charged under several counts of Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The court has repeatedly extended his preventive measure in the form of detention, the last time until March 29, 2026.
Additionally, it became known that he confessed to committing other crimes. According to the investigation, Abdyrov may have been involved in at least six attacks on women, four of which ended in murder, including that of 19-year-old Kamila Duyshbaeva. Law enforcement officials do not rule out that the number of victims may be much higher.
