At 23:04 on February 4, an emergency call was received at service 102 reporting that a woman's body had been found on the bypass road.
A investigative-operational group from the First May District Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. A preliminary examination of the body confirmed that the girl's death was the result of a criminal act.
This fact was registered under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
During the investigation, the identity of the victim was established. She was S.B., born in 2006.
Police officers quickly tracked down the suspect, N.A., born in 2004. However, when law enforcement arrived at his residence, he attempted to commit suicide by inflicting several stab wounds on himself. The police provided him with first aid and called a medical team.
At present, the suspect is under guard in the hospital, where he is receiving necessary treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
