The incident occurred on February 4 at 23:04, when a report was received by the "102" service about the discovered body of a woman in the area of the bypass road on the outskirts of the city.
The investigative group of the First May District Internal Affairs Department found the body at the scene with clear signs of violent death. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The deceased was identified as 17-year-old S.B., born in 2006.
The police also identified the suspect, who turned out to be 19-year-old N.A., born in 2004. When law enforcement approached his home, he attempted to commit suicide by inflicting several stab wounds on himself. The timely actions of the police allowed them to provide first aid, after which an ambulance crew was called.
At the moment, N.A. is in a medical facility under guard.
As part of the criminal case, necessary forensic examinations have been appointed, and the pre-trial investigation continues in strict accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, as emphasized by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate.
