According to the press service of the Sverdlovsk District Police, on February 1, the woman reported the incident to the police. She stated that on the same day, in her house located in the residential area of Lower Ala-Archa, her husband beat her while threatening her with a firearm.
In connection with this incident, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 2 (Torture) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement authorities detained a 55-year-old man named K.O., who is now in a temporary detention facility.
A pistol was also seized, which is currently undergoing examination.
The investigation is ongoing.
