According to information from law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on the same day in the Lower Ala-Archa area. The man, while in his home, used physical force against his wife and threatened her with a weapon.
In connection with the incident, the investigative authorities of the Sverdlovsk District Police Department initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 2 "Torture" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A 57-year-old man has been detained in Bishkek for threats and beating his wife.
The suspect, born in 1968, was quickly apprehended thanks to the prompt actions of the police and taken to the investigative service. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The weapon was seized and sent for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
