According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chuy region, the suspects, using deception and abuse of trust, re-registered the property ownership in their names and then resold the apartment to third parties for the purpose of obtaining financial gain.
As a result of these illegal actions, the victim suffered damages amounting to 80 thousand dollars.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of the crime provided for by Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify the suspects — I. A., born in 1995, and M. E., born in 1994. In accordance with the norms of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
