In the Chon-Alai District, 8 citizens were fined for violations of weapon storage.
As a result of these checks, 8 citizens were fined for non-compliance with the norms of storage and re-registration of weapons.
Additionally, during the operation, 5 traumatic pistols and 2 smoothbore firearms were temporarily seized and transferred for storage to the district internal affairs department.
Protocols were drawn up based on Article 133 of the Code of Offenses, concerning violations of the rules for the storage and transportation of firearms, gas, and other weapons, resulting in fines of 3,000 soms each for 6 citizens.
Furthermore, 2 protocols were drawn up under Article 134, paragraph 1, which pertains to the untimely registration of firearms and other weapons, also imposing a fine of 3,000 soms each.
Law enforcement officers explained to local residents that they are required to surrender any unregistered weapons or ammunition to the police, if they have any.
