Since the beginning of 2026, as a result of operational actions by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, three individuals who were on international wanted lists through Interpol have been detained in Bishkek.
One of the detainees is a citizen named G. D., born in 1979. He was wanted for intentionally causing serious harm to health and for illegally crossing the border. After his arrest, he was handed over to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District of the capital.
In another incident, at Manas International Airport, a foreign citizen S. V., born in 1988, was detained while attempting to enter the territory of Kyrgyzstan. He was on an international wanted list for facilitating illegal entry and stay of foreigners, as well as for fraud using forged administrative documents and participation in a criminal community under French law. After his arrest, he was also delivered to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sokuluk District in the Chui Region.
Additionally, with the help of the "Safe City" video surveillance system, a citizen A. H., born in 1986, was detained in Bishkek, who was on an international wanted list for fraud. After his arrest, he was handed over to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District.
The work of identifying and detaining suspects who are on international wanted lists is carried out on a continuous basis and remains one of the priority areas of law enforcement activities. The measures taken allow for the timely locating of wanted individuals and making appropriate procedural decisions in accordance with the law.
