Guy distributed materials from a banned organization in the KR: He was detained
This information was provided by the press service of the Osh regional department of internal affairs.
During operational activities conducted by the staff of the service for countering extremism and illegal migration of the Kara-Suu district internal affairs department, a young man was identified who used social networks to disseminate extremist materials.
According to the results of a judicial linguistic examination, it was found that the suspect openly shared materials related to the terrorist organization "ISIS," which is banned in Kyrgyzstan, through his personal social media page.
Based on the collected evidence and the results of the examination, a criminal case was initiated under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "the production and distribution of extremist materials," and investigative actions were started.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspect — K. uulu R., born in 2002, was detained. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify other individuals related to this criminal case.
