According to information provided by the press service of the Osh Regional Court, the preventive measure for the accused K. uulu S. was considered under paragraphs 5 and 7 of part 2 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code ("Murder"). He will remain in custody until March 24, 2026. "Based on the ruling of the Uzgen District Court dated January 26, 2026, the petition of the investigative service of the Uzgen Department of Internal Affairs was granted. The accused K. uulu S. will be held in detention until the investigation is completed," the court's statement reports.
As previously reported by the press service of the Osh Regional Internal Affairs Department, on January 24, 2026, the Uzgen Department of Internal Affairs received a report from the territorial hospital that a citizen E.M., born in 1999, had died from serious injuries sustained from a sharp object.
Based on this information, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and operational-investigative actions began.
As a result of the conducted operational-search activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Uzgen Department of Internal Affairs detained the suspect, K. uulu S., born in 1993, who had fled the crime scene. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a quarrel had occurred between the deceased E.M. and the suspect K. uulu S., the cause of which was a conflict over road passage.
