In the Suusamyr Valley, an investigation has been initiated due to a vehicle fire.

The press service of the Interior Ministry of the Chui region reported that on January 25 at 11:35, a signal was received in the duty unit of the Jaiyl District Department of Internal Affairs from the "112" service about a fire in a large cargo truck on the 141 km of the Bishkek–Osh highway.

An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene. During the investigation, it was determined that the truck, a "MAN" model, belonged to a citizen O.K., born in 1981, who is engaged in private transportation of petroleum products.

According to law enforcement agencies, on January 23, O.K. received an order to transport fuel and lubricants (AI-92 gasoline) from one of the companies operating in the oil refining sector. A citizen K.A., born in 1989, was hired as the driver.

On January 25, around 11:20, driver K.A. was transporting 28 tons of petroleum products to the city of Osh, with O.K. also present in the cabin.

Not far from the destination, the truck's front left tire burst, leading to a loss of control over the vehicle, which veered into the oncoming lane and overturned. As a result of this incident, a fire broke out, and the vehicle was completely burned. Both men died at the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were transported to the morgue of the Jaiyl District Territorial Hospital, where appropriate examinations have been appointed. The investigation is ongoing.

It should be noted that the fire did not cause any environmental damage, as no leaks of petroleum products were recorded — all fuel and lubricants burned on site.

The Interior Ministry of the Chui region reminds drivers of the necessity to thoroughly check the technical condition of vehicles before long trips.
